What
is Loving Care Home Health?
Loving Care nurses and aides provide
in-home medical care, helping the patient live a life as close to normal as possible.
Our skilled professionals are bonded and carefully screened to ensure patients
receive the highest quality of care. Services are provided in Madison and surrounding
counties. Medicare-certified services include:
- Physician-directed care.
- Skilled nursing care, including the assessment and monitoring of physical
problems; I.V. therapy; wound and care; blood draws; catheter care; and help with
medicines and nutrition.
- Home Health Aide services for bathing and personal
care. Household help (meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc.) is also available.
- Therapists to help restore functional abilities or to prevent further
disability.
What is Loving Care Daily Living
Services?
Daily Living Services, also provided by skilled professionals,
are long-term care services provided to individuals in their homes. Service is
available to families in Madison, Union and surrounding counties. Daily Living
Services may include:
- General nursing care.
- Assistance with
personal care and ADLs (activities of daily living).
- Homemaker services
(housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation).
- Assistance to “at risk”
individuals.
Although some individuals self-pay for Daily Living
Services, most are provided to Medicaid eligible individuals. The actual care
plan is based on the level of care and assistance required.
How
is a Patient Referred for Services?
Physicians,
hospitals and discharge planners provide most of our referrals, but family members,
clergy, and even the patient can request our services. The patient’s physician
must authorize care.
Our offices are open weekdays
from 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. for referrals and information. Our toll-free number
allows easy access to all residents of Madison and Union Counties.
